Sculpted by Chieri, a sculptor active since the 1980s, the figure retains the atmosphere from the era. Motoko's hair and boots are aurora-plated like an optical camouflage, and her expression changes depending on the angle the figure is viewed from. The contrast between the textures of her bodysuit and mechanical parts is one of the many visual highlights the figure has to offer. Actual cords are used for the cord details.
