Anime Kaika Sydney CBD Store Relocation Update

Anime Kaika Sydney CBD Store will be closing at our current location, as the building is set to be demolished.
Our last trading day at our current Pitt St. location will be 21st June

But don’t worry.. a new arc begins! We’ll be moving to a bigger space at a new nearby location. Our new store location will be announced at a later date, so stay tuned to our socials for updates

 

What is happening in the meantime?

Outside of pre-orders, we will be temporarily reducing restocks at our Sydney CBD store to help with the move. Yes, that includes new releases.

If you're looking for new arrivals, please visit our Burwood location or place an order online.

Store pickup will continue to be available at our Pitt St. location until our final trading day on 21st June.

If you're after a specific item:

  • Phone ahead to check stock availability
  • Order online for in-store pickup
    • Please wait until you receive your "Ready for In-Store Pickup" confirmation email before coming to collect your order.

 

 

General Store FAQ

Q: Will you still be open at Pitt St. after 21st June?
A: No - the Pitt St. store will officially close after 21st June. (Though you might still spot some staff around tearing down the place)

Q: Will the new location still be in the CBD?
A: Yes! We’ll still be in the Sydney CBD, near Town Hall.

Q: Why can’t you tell us the new store location yet?
A: We’re still finalising all the details, but we can’t wait to share everything once it’s locked in!

Q: When will the new store open?
A: TBC - we’ll share updates as soon as we can. 

Q: Will you be open by SMASH! Sydney?
A: We’re planning to be... but we’ll have to wait and see

Q: Will you be at SMASH! Sydney?
A: Yes - we’ll be there in full force! You might even spot some brand-new items too.. Maybe some Event Limited Items? 

Q: Will Anime Kaika Burwood still be open?
A: Yes! Anime Kaika Burwood will continue operating as normal. 

Q: What’s happening to the current location?
A: Well... the whole building is set to be demolished

 

 

Online Orders FAQ

Q: Can I still pick up orders before 21st June?
A: Yes! Pickups at our current Pitt St. location will continue until 21st June.

Q: Can I still pick up my order after 21st June, before the new store opens?
A: TBC - we’re still working through logistics and will share details once confirmed.

Q: What if I can’t collect my order before the move?
A: Your order will be transferred to our new location. More pickup details will be shared soon.

Q: Do I need to change anything for my existing order?
A: Nope! We’ll contact you if any action is needed. If you wish to change pickup to our Burwood location instead let us know and we can get that updated for you. 

Q: Will I still receive arrival notifications?
A: Yes! We’ll continue to notify you when your order is ready.

Q: What happens to my pre-orders?
A: Don’t worry - all pre-orders will remain active and will still be fulfilled. Since we’re only moving nearby, your order will simply be available for pickup at our new location once we reopen.

Q: Will you still be shipping online orders?
A: Yes! Online orders and pre-orders will continue shipping as normal. 

Q: I selected store pickup for my order. What happens now?
A: If your order arrives after our current store closes, pickup will move to our new nearby location. We’ll share details once everything is confirmed.
